ABOUT THE RENT

What happens in case of bad weather?

In case of bad weather or rough seas, we recommend that you do not start the rent, as we do not want you to feel uncomfortable on board. In this case, we suggest that you postpone your planned (day) trip with our boat and arrange a new date with us.

Is fuel included in the charter price?

Fuel is not included in the rental price. You pick up the boat with a full tank of fuel and return it with a full tank of fuel. The nearest fuel station is located in Marina Portorož - check prices and opening hours directly with the provider.

Do I need a licence to rent this boat?

If you rent a boat without a skipper, you will need a valid Certificate of Competence for Boat Operators. Before renting our vessels, we will check your ability to safely operate the vessel. If we determine that you cannot safely operate the vessel on your own, you will need a skipper for the rental period (if available), even if you have a valid Certificate.

Is the boat insured for damage?

Vessels are insured with a 1% deductible. If damage is found upon return of the vessel, the vessel insurance does not cover damage valued less than 1% of the value of the vessel (the deductible amount). In such a case, compensation for the damage incurred is covered from your deposit. If damage is found upon return of the vessel valued at more than 1% of the value of the vessel (the deductible amount), your deposit will be retained in full.

Am I experienced enough to rent this boat?

Before renting a vessel, we will check your boat handling skills. If we determine that you cannot safely operate the vessel on your own, you will need a skipper for the rental (if available on the selected date).
